The George T. Files American Legion post number 20 exist to promote the goals and objectives of The American Legion within the town of Brunswick, the state of Maine and of the United States of America.
ArtVan is on a mission to promote equity and accessibility by delivering mobile art therapy for transformational healing to people in their communities. Since 2004 we have been serving youth in Brunswick, Bath, Lewiston, Auburn and beyond, meeting them where they are with trained professionals ready to facilitate programs designed to address their unique needs. Youth who participate in programs build self esteem, develop healthy social relations, and transform past traumatic and problematic experiences into present positive choices.
Strengthening Our Community Through Conservation Since 1985, the Brunswick-Topsham Land Trust has preserved more than 3,200 acres in these neighboring Maine towns in our effort to protect properties with true ecological, agricultural and aesthetic importance. Our geographic area is bounded by the Casco Bay coastline and Merrymeeting Bay, and crossed by the Androscoggin, Cathance and Muddy Rivers, open space, forest and contains many areas with active agricultural land. By working to identify and protect the irreplaceable features of Brunswick, Topsham, and Bowdoin, BTLT is working to maintain the natural heritage that helps make our communities so special.
College Guild is the nation's only provider of free correspondence courses and dictionaries to prisoners around the country. Since 2001, more than 6,000 students have enrolled. A force of 150 volunteer Readers from Bowdoin College to California read and respond thoughtfully to students' writings in a mutually-anonymous and richly rewarding practice.
A world of possibility For 121 years, Brunswicks library has been an integral part of the community fabric and available to every resident free of charge. The Curtis collection includes more than 146,000 items. We provide free programs for children and adults, community meeting spaces and free WiFi and internet access for both regular library users and visitors to the community. Our library specializes in opening up a world of possibility to each person that visits by meeting their need for information, ideas, community and interaction.

Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program (MCHPP) is the largest hunger relief and prevention agency in Maine's mid coast region. Our mission is to offer dignity and empowerment by providing all members of our community with access to healthy food.
